lore m. dickey, PhD


lore is a licensed psychologist working in Flagstaff, AZ. He received an MA in Counseling and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 2011. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Counseling and Psychological Services at Duke University. Following graduation he completed a 10-month post-doctoral fellowship at the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at the Morehouse School of Medicine.

In addition to his private practice, lore also works as an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Training Director in the Department of Educational Psychology at Northern Arizona University. lore is passionate about working with clients, training tomorrow’s psychologists, and ensuring that his research is available to the trans community.

lore made a social and medical transition in 1999. His decision to return to school in 2005 to become a psychologist was related to the horrific stories that gender diverse people talk about when relaying their experiences with mental health providers.
